On Thursday, October 25, the PW monthly meeting was a luncheon, and the program was a look at Middle Eastern Christianity today. Basing her talk on some of her recent encounters in Jordan and Syria, Merle Gaston gave a most interesting analysis of Christians representing many traditions.

FAIR TRADE CHOCOLATE BARS ARE HERE! They are $3.00 each. The organic cocoa market has risen steeply, and it looks like the trend will continue. In recent years large companies have entered the market, causing the demand and price to go up. Thank you for your support of the Equal Exchange Interfaith program. FAIRLY TRADED COFFEE is served at our Fellowship time (currently only Regular, not Decaf). Your donation helps defray the cost of this coffee which we purchase to help the small coffee growers. Packaged coffee is available for purchase on the patio.
