Missions Team Sponsors Thai Dancers and Actors
On Sunday, March 30, the Missions Team hosted a troupe of dancers/actors from the Christian Communications Institute of Payap University in Chiang Mai, Thialand. The Rev. Rob Collins, Director of the CCI, and his wife, Esther Wakeman, led seven professional dancers and actors. They presented dances from different regions of Thailand and a touching drama of the "Prodigal Daughter." A delicious Thai dinner by our own Kay Bowman preceded the performance.

Our PW Presbyians Participate in Worship Sunday
On Sunday, March 30th, six very talented ladies of our church performed a scene from the Gospel of John (20:19-31). Written by Noni Patchell, the script offered a wonderful illumination of the scripture that informed the sermon. Thank you, Ladies!

A Letter to Us from Tarry and Charmaine Nelson in Liberia:

Greetings to you from Liberia this week after Easter!
He is risen.  He is risen indeed! Tarry sends greetings from the Rafiki Laundry room which is up and running. This is just one of the 5 locations he tries to be in each day!  And Charmaine says hello from the ChildCare Program!
Thank you for the prayers the three little ones who arrived in March.  They are looking happy and healthy.   Two arrived with Malaria and with treatment they are doing fine now.  All together they have gained 20 pounds since they arrived!  They are enjoying the good food at Rafiki!  The mothers tell of the children’s delight when listening to the nightly Bible stories.  Some of them are even learning to pray for the first time!   Here they are.

Nancy                      Amos               Patricia

Join us in giving thanks for the receipt of all our boxes!!  We are no longer living out of suit cases for the first time since December 24!  We are grateful that everything arrived intact.

The only outstanding item is our new car – ETA>>>March 1 (oh well).  We have been told to look for its delivery this week (April 1).  Please pray for its arrival.  Then the village will have a truck available for its use.

And lastly you have been praying for a pediatrician to give sound evaluation of children and assist us with our medical questions.  Dr. El Seguiny  and Patience Anderson, the Administrative Director of the Catholic hospital, have  provided a time and place to regularly evaluate children for Rafiki.  We have been using their services for the past three weeks.  And, just to give God an opportunity to be glorified even more, the entire staff of the Hospital gives their sincere appreciation for the work Rafiki is doing in Liberia!  God has answered our prayers in this matter abundantly.  Please continue to pray that the doctor’s future evaluations are accurate and ensure that children whom Rafiki admits are evaluated correctly.

Finally, we always appreciate your prayers for our strength, health and safety.

With love in Christ,

Charmaine and Tarry Nelson
