Clippers Hear about Shipwrecks in the Santa Barbara Channel
On Friday, April 13, the Clippers enjoyed a delicious meal by Kay and a presentation by Willard Thompson entitled "Troubled Waters: Shipwrecks in the Santa Barbara Channel." Mr. Thompson has done extensive research on the history of our channel and has put together a fascinating historical survey of some of the more famous (and infamous) shipwrecks during the past 150 or so years.
