Clippers Hear about Shipwrecks in the Santa Barbara Channel
On Friday, April 13, the Clippers enjoyed a delicious meal by Kay and a presentation by Willard Thompson entitled "Troubled Waters: Shipwrecks in the Santa Barbara Channel." Mr. Thompson has done extensive research on the history of our channel and has put together a fascinating historical survey of some of the more famous (and infamous) shipwrecks during the past 150 or so years. Thanks to all who made this event so successful. To find out how you can enjoy fellowship with the Clippers, please call Juleine.
