On Saturday, February 27th, the Rev. Julie Johnson presided over a day of learning and reflection during the annual Women's Retreat. "Whether you are bored or busy, you need some time and space to think prayerfully about who God is calling you to be as a person and as a Christian disciple." Thanks to all who organized this wonderful event!

PresbyFolks Learns about Vietnam Soldiers' Reflections
On Saturday, February 20th, the PresbyFolks enjoyed lunch at the Santa Barbara Yacht Club and then walked to the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum to hear a presentation by its Director, Greg Gorga. In a talk both humorous and compelling, Greg explained the touring exhibit "Marking Time," which investigated the thoughts of soldiers on the three-week ocean voyage to Vietnam. We then toured the Maritime Museum and were again impressed by its fascinating displays and tributes to people who have made impacts in the nautical world. For information on how you can participate in PresbyFolks activities, please call Juleine.
