THE FLOWERS today are dedicated by Mary Lou Gee in loving memory of her husband, the Rev. Thomas Gee. THE FLOWERS are also dedicated by Doug DuCharme in honor of Carol DuCharme’s birthday. The Deacons will take the flowers to those unable to worship with us.

NEWS FROM UGANDA: Jerry and Candis Bingham are missionaries in Gulu, Uganda that we support. They ask our prayers for "Women of Hope", ministry to those women with HIV/AIDS as they train leaders. There is need that the ministry grow to men and children as well. Pray for the teachers at the "House of Love" school for the children. Jerry and Candis are currently in Seattle where Jerry is recovering from heart surgery and it is hard for them to be separated from their ministry now. They seek God's will in all things.

FAIR TRADE COFFEE - You can put your values into action by purchasing Fair Trade Coffee to support the farmer partners and build a more just food system. Chocolate bars are on order!

MISSIONAL CHURCH: STUDYING CONGREGATIONS. Karen Parchman is a Ph.D. student at Fuller Theological Seminary.  Her research covers congregations which have made the commitment to become missional churches. She will present successes, failures, and lessons learned in her workshop at the Santa Barbara Mission Conference (Saturday, Jan. 15, at FPC ) . T he conference is presented by SB Presbytery and First Presbyterian Church SB . Pick up a registration brochure now at the church.
