First Presbyterian Church

The programs of the Children's Ministries department at First Presbyterian Church are designed to introduce your child to the love of God in Christ Jesus and to enable each child to find his or her place as a part of our congregation. Some programs are primarily intended to provide a safe, caring place for children to be while their parents work. Some are specifically intended to offer an opportunity for age-appropriate fellowship and Bible study. Finally, some are for support and nurture for families. Paid staff and volunteers provide leadership in all areas of the programs and your assistance is welcomed. Contact the program leader or department head if you are interested in volunteering in some way. We have implemented a screening process for all who work with our children and youth which is intended to insure the safety of each of the children committed to our care.
