Now Enrolling: Toddler & Preschool Openings in Santa Barbara

As summer winds down, we're looking forward to an exciting new school year! On August 17, First Presbyterian Early Childhood Center will begin our 44th year of providing high-quality childcare, toddler care, and preschool education in Santa Barbara. 

For more than four decades, we've partnered with local families to create a warm, nurturing environment where children learn through play, build meaningful relationships, and develop the confidence and skills they need for future success. We are excited to welcome both returning families and those joining our school community for the very first time. 

Now Enrolling for Select Classrooms

As we begin the 2026-2027 school year, we have a limited number of openings available. 

Toddler Program Openings 

We currently have openings for children who will turn 2 years old between September and December. Our toddler program helps children develop independence, language, social skills, and confidence through responsive caregiving, hands-on exploration, and plenty of time for play. 

Preschool Openings 

We also have openings in our play-based preschool program for children who were 2 years old by August 1 and will celebrate their 3rd or 4th birthday during the upcoming school year. Our preschool classrooms encourage curiosity, creativity, early literacy and math skills, problem-solving, and kindergarten readiness while honoring the importance of play in early childhood.
