Music
Our Music Ministries aim to uplift, energize, and unite—building community in and beyond worship.
In weekly Sunday services and special gatherings, musicians share their gifts across a variety of styles. Our worship blends traditional and contemporary genres, favorites, and new music.
Emerging and established musicians share their talents as an offering to God, enhancing the worship experience and deepening our connection with God and each other. You’ll regularly hear our organ and piano as well as vocal and instrumental soloists, including our choirs and band.
If you’d like to get involved—sing, play, or support the ministry behind the scenes—please contact Casey Molino Dunn, our Director of Music Ministries.
Choirs & Band, Vocal Soloists & Instrumentalists
Our Chancel Choir, open to youth and adults of all musical backgrounds, ages 10+, sings two to three Sundays per month, September–May, with rehearsals around twice a month on Thursday evenings. All-Church Intergenerational Pick-Up Choirs, open to all, typically sing one Sunday a month during June, July, and August, with a short rehearsal before the 9:30 am worship.
Our Worship Band supports most Sunday services with its keyboard, bass, and drum core. Additional musicians regularly rotate in, including brass, woodwind, and string players. A range of local musicians—including students, faculty, and other performing artists—share their gifts during worship through featured solos and instrumental offerings.
Music Ministries also supports key gatherings throughout the year, including midweek Advent and Lenten services in the Chapel, Holy Week (Palm Sunday through Easter), Pentecost, Youth Sunday, and a Christmas Carol Sing.
Connection, collaboration, and community engagement
Our Music Ministries also connect with our church and local community beyond Sunday worship— including through PresbyCamp, Presbytery and Interfaith gatherings, and beginning in 2025 with our Early Childhood Center’s Trunk-or-Treat Spooktacular, featuring an organ adding to historic Halloween-themed silent movies.
