Growing up in the seaside surf town of Half Moon Bay in the Bay Area, I was very active in high school athletics and theater and as the senior class president, I still plan the reunions. After high school, I attended UC Santa Barbara and fell in love with this area and the lovely sense of community here. My employment background ranges from finance to hospitality, and I have worked in corporate offices as well as non-profits. I strive for greatness, remembering to take the time to actively listen to and honestly care about helping other people. I volunteered at Cottage Hospital and various assisted living facilities with my Therapy Dog for 8 years. Several years back, I moved to Carpinteria with my young daughter, Ella, and we have the good fortune to live just one block away from my parents. We enjoy daily visits with them as well as bike rides, hikes, road trips, beach days and quality time with friends and our two kitties.
