Music Ministry Volunteer Opportunities

• Chancel Choir: All lovers of worship in song are encouraged to join the chancel choir. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings from 7-8:30 pm in the Music Room. The Chancel Choir supports worship from September to June, taking a break during the summer months.

• Praise Band: Musicians are encouraged to volunteer to enhance the musical texture of worship. Guitar, bass, drums and piano, as well as other instruments, are welcome.

• Christmas Eve Orchestra: Parts are accessible for all ability levels, and all ages encouraged to join. Rehearsal is on Christmas Eve ahead of the service.

• Summer Solos: A wonderful summer tradition, and congregants are encouraged to share their musical talent with voice or instrument.

• Ukeladies: Beginners welcome, and a ukulele can be provided upon request.

• Youth Participants: All youth who have an interest in music or play an instrument are encouraged to get involved. Past participation has included vocal solos and duets, instrumental descants for hymns played in instruments, and musical combos.
