The March 2027 Youth Lock-In invites all junior high and senior high youth to a "half-way there" Beach Party Road Trip to the Annenberg Beach House on Sunday, September 20, from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm, with van transportation provided via RSVP to scroshaw@fpcsb.org.

FPCSB is hosting a family camping weekend at Lake Cachuma from September 25–27 with shared meals, outdoor activities, and campfire gatherings. Attendees are asked to reserve a campsite near Mohawk 584 (about $100) and can contact scroshaw@fpcsb.org for scholarship information.

Blessing of the Animals

We gather on the Garden Lawn to bless the animals who share our lives, a tradition kept each year near the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi. Dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and the occasional chicken are all welcome, and if your companion would rather stay home, bring a photo and we will bless them just the same.

All-Church Pick-Up Choir

Everyone is again invited to join the fun for our next All-Church Pick-Up Choir. On Sunday, August 2 we'll gather at 9:00 am in the CFC to warm up and rehearse a fun, easy-to-learn piece before singing it in worship. All ages and experience levels are welcome. You don’t have to read music, and no RSVP or commitment beyond August 2 is required.

Gather & Grow Book Study

Join us as we Gather & Grow together on Wednesday evenings beginning Jan 14th – Feb 11th. Together we’ll discuss a newly published book, “Being Presbyterian in a Dysvangelical America.” Written by a pastor & professor duo, this book explores basic Reformed practice and theology, leaning into how we live out our faith in today’s complex world. It covers topics such as lifelong discipleship, being formed in community, and democracy as ‘the Presbyterian way.’

Wednesdays Dec 10 & 17 at 5:30. These worship services will be approximately 45 mins long, are intergenerational, and include an interactive craft for all ages. Community Messiah Sing

Community Messiah Sing

Tuesday, December 16, at 7:30 pm. This is the 43rd annual Community Messiah Sing and a wonderful opportunity to join with many voices and highly trained soloists in singing some of the best known and celebrated sacred music of this season while raising funds for an important non-profit in the Santa Barbara community, the Unity Shoppe. Tickets and music scores are available at Chaucer’s Books and Unity Gift & Thrift as well as at the event itself.
