A memorial service for Elaine Locke will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 17, in the Chapel at Samarkand, 2550 Treasure Drive, Santa Barbara, 93105.

Save the date for our annual Kids In Mission Day Camp on the Veterans Day Holiday, Tuesday, November 11. This is for children and youth in second grade and up. High School students who want community service hours are welcome to come as Counselors in Training.

Giving is an essential part of our ongoing discipleship. God poured out God’s whole self for us and for the world in Jesus Christ. Filled with gratitude for God’s grace in our lives, we offer God our time, talent, and treasure. Baby Sitters Red Cross Certification course will be offered for youth in 5-9th grades on October 17. This class is led by Jaime Lapeyre. To register contact Susan Croshaw at scroshaw@fpcsb.org.

The Blessing of the Animals will happen at 4:00 pm on Sunday, October 5 on the grassy area off the Garden Room. Bring any animal that you love. Gordy will bless each animal. We will also have water and dog treats. We will celebrate Saint Francis’ love of all animals.
