Bring your best friend to church. On Sunday, October 4 at 4:00 pm, we gather on the Garden Lawn to bless the animals who share our lives, a tradition kept each year near the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi. Dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, and the occasional chicken are all welcome, and if your companion would rather stay home, bring a photo and we will bless them just the same. Come for the blessing, stay for the happy chaos of a lawn full of wagging tails. All are welcome, and there is no cost to attend. Please keep pets leashed or crated.
